It is based on intellectual property rights exclusive to Lifespans Limited - including proprietary copyright software and know-how - and has pending patent rights. Any non-exclusive technologies utilized by this system are open-source and/or are properly licensed for commercial use. No other third party proprietary software or simulation solvers, such as those of Abaqus, Ansys, Mimics, etc., are utilized in or by the Alfonso™ simulator.
